Located on Route 231  1/4 miles east of Route 41.  Exit Interstate 65 at Route 231 and go west toward Crown Point.  Follow Rt. 231 around the Crown Point square then about four miles west.  Park opens at 8 a.m. and has various season closing times.

Cedar Creek Family Golf Center offers the following features:

  • Lighted driving range with more than 15,000 square feet of bluegrass tees and 20 artificial "golfer friendly" artificial turf mats. The driving range can accommodate over 50 golfers at one time.

  • The nine-hole executive course consists of five par 3's and four par 4's for a length of 1742 yards from the white tees and 1606 from the red tees for a par of 31.

  • The mini golf course is an 18 hole adventure style miniature golf course, complete with a water fall and two creeks. This course allows all members of the family to get into the action. The mini golf course is used for group activities, birthday parties and family outings. It is lighted for night play.

Junior Golf Leagues  

Junior Summer League

  • Tuesdays June 23 - August 11, 2009

  • Tee times begin at 10 a.m.

Golfers must have their own clubs and golf balls, and have experience playing golf on a course.  Register early.  Call Cedar Creek at 219-365-2902 to register

  • Ages 5-9*

  • Cost $75.00

*Parents must stay on the property the entire time for these children.  

Junior Fall Leagues

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays September 1 - 29, 2009

  • Tee times begin at 4 p.m.

Golfers must have their own clubs and have experience playing golf on a course.  Pre-registration is preferred. Registration is taken no later than the first day.

  • Ages:    10-17  

  • Cost:    $60.00

  • Ages:    5-9  

  • Cost:    $40.00*

*Parents must stay on the property the entire time for these children.

ADULT SOCIAL GOLF and MINI GOLF LEAGUE

  • Cedar Creek Family Golf Center          

  • Mondays June 1- August 24, 2009 and 

  • Tuesdays June 2- August 25, 2009

  • Tee Times: between 8 - 11 a.m. on Mondays and between 8 - 10 a.m. on Tuesdays

  • Cost: $15.00 one-time league fee plus weekly greens fees

  • Weekly greens fees as follows:

  • $7.00 to walk

  • $15.00 to ride (must have two golfers per cart)  

  • Mini-Golf Fee $5 (No league fee for mini golfers)

Spend Monday mornings this summer in this fun social golf league. This league is not like any you’ve played in before.  By paying a one-time league fee of $15 you are automatically in the league. You have the “freedom” of choosing what Mondays you will attend the league. There’s not a penalty for any missed times throughout the summer. It’s a perfect league if you vacation or just don’t want to play every week but still wish to be part of a league.

Is Mini Golf more to your liking?  Does your spouse golf while you sit home?  Come out during Social League and mini golf for fun.  No experience required.  This adult league is perfect for anyone who wants the start each week with a smile.

Ladies League

The Cedar Creek Ladies League is the perfect opportunity to come out and play nine holes of golf and just relax after work, or after a long day of keeping up with the kids. Many families go on vacation throughout the summer and the thought of having to find someone to replace for league is nothing but trouble. At Cedar Creek if you miss a week there is not a penalty and you do not have to find someone to take your place. This league provides the freedom to come out and golf whichever Wednesday you choose and the ladies will be there waiting for you to tee off. Participants will enjoy weekly contests with prizes at no additional cost.

Tips from the Pro

Come out to Cedar Creek Family Golf Center three times a week for lunch and lessons. On the driving range teaching instructor, Tom Zimmerman, will give tips on the Golf Digest skill of the month. Work on this tip with Tom or work on a different stroke that is affecting your golf game. The lessons are FREE!! This is one lunch hour where the tip is included.

Cost:    Purchase a Small, Medium, or Large bucket of balls from the clubhouse. 

Time:    11 a.m.- 1 p.m. on the driving range

Not So Scary Mini Golf

Come out to Cedar Creek Family Golf Center the last two Friday and Saturday nights in October and on Halloween for our Not-So-Scary Mini Golf. Halloween decorations fill the mini golf to create a spooky atmosphere, but not to spooky for those youngsters who are not fond of the dark. Come dressed up in a costume and receive a treat.

    Junior golfers will learn the fundamentals of basic grip, stance, and club usage.  Practicing drives, iron shots, and chipping and putting will implement this.  Juniors leave this camp feeling comfortable and confident on the golf course.  Bring clubs, balls, and water bottles.

    Junior golfers will expand on basic golf fundamentals and hone their abilities.  A golf Pro will be on hand to study their techniques and give more individual structure.  The junior golfer will be prepared and comfortable on the golf course when session is complete.  You choose the session that will be best for your schedule.

High School Golf Clinic

Students will learn fundamentals of grip, stance, and club usage, and then put those to use by practicing chipping and putting, iron shots, and drives.  This clinic is designed for golfers who would like to try out for the golf team and need that extra boost. Your own clubs and balls needed.

Meet Tom Zimmerman, Golf Instructor at Cedar Creek

Golfing since the mid 1970s, Tom Zimmerman has more than 30 years of practical experience; playing golf, teaching children and adults, coaching high school golf team players, and playing as an amateur in tournaments.  As the instructor at Cedar Creek, he approaches adult and youth golfers differently.  Zimmerman says, “Adults have habits that are deeply ingrained, so instead of correcting their habits, I watch their swing, look for their strengths, and help them build on what they do well.”  When asked how he teaches youth, he notes, “Young golfers haven’t had time to develop bad habits, so I like to instill the basics of grip, stance, and swing.”  When asked how he became a golf instructor, Zimmerman said, “I just love golf and I want other people to love it too.  When they hit one great shot their faces light up.  It’s the greatest thing.”  Zimmerman says the driving range at Cedar Creek is better than ever.  Upgrades being implemented include more distance markers, upgraded golf balls, and a variety of new targets to be introduced throughout the season.  Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned golfer, there is a program at Cedar Creek that fits your needs.

Family Hour with a Golf Instructor

Cedar Creek Family Golf Center Driving Range

Saturday June 27 ● July 25 ● Aug 22            First session: 8 a.m.     Last session: 3 p.m.

Cost: $30 for a family of 5 (max)                   1 hour sessions, unlimited buckets of balls

Register now for a unique opportunity!  On the driving range, our golf pro will give you and your family an hour long session with personal instruction and tips.
