For families, no groups please - Group information below 
Bring your child to Deep River County Park to learn about a variety of topics, some historical, some scientific, some just for fun. Child pays before each program. Adult care givers are required to remain in the park and may be asked to assist. We try to hold our programs rain or shine. For weather update, call the Park at 219-947-1958. Please provide bottled water and insect repellent if needed. There are no programs the week of July 4.

June 13 - Horseshoes - Not only for horses, but for fun too
June 20 - Let’s make a pioneer doll, a boy or a girl
June 27 - Find Indian beads for your necklace
July 11 - Make a pioneer quilt for the cold wintertime
July 18 - Let’s churn butter - if successful we’ll have a special treat
July 25 - Enjoy pioneer games and play with homemade toys

Caregivers must remain in the Park and may be asked to assist. You may hike or picnic in the Park before or after your reserved program. There are no programs the week of July 4.
