The final day the children will play a few holes on the Executive course. When a junior leaves this camp we want them to feel comfortable on the golf course although they will still require practice and dedication.

The camp, sponsored by a donation in memory of Nell Bartholomew Dinsmore, is limited to 30 per session so sign up today. Call 219-365-2902. Nell Bartholomew Dinsmore enjoyed the game of golf and wanted to help young people learn the skills so they too could enjoy the special recreation and energy that golf brings.
Bring your lunch or order a lunch of hot dog, chips, and cola for an extra $3 when you register. Youth golf clubs are available for use during the camp. Anyone who has clubs may bring them, although we will only be using a driver, a middle iron, and a putter.
This is an excellent way to find out if golf is the game for you. Youth campers will learn proper etiquette and rules for play on a golf course and then head to the driving range to learn how to hold and swing the club while hitting practice shots. The young beginners will learn how to determine what club to use and practice putting. After lunch, we'll go out on the course to put the morning lessons to work. We pack a lot into one day with fun teaching techniques.
Attention scouts: this camp meets some of the requirements for the Girl Scouts Sports Sampler Badge and the Boy Scouts Sports Golf Merit Badge. Badges are not included in the program.
