Snowflake Skate is an ice skating party for girls age 6 and older and their dolls or stuffed animals who love to skate. Girls are encouraged, but not required, to bring a doll or teddy bear to join the fun both indoors and out. Parents should be prepared to baby sit dolls and animals who do not wish to go skating or make crafts.

Girls and their "friends" will skate on the outdoor plaza and learn skating moves from the Deep River Waterpark Snowflake Skater. They will have their photo taken and make a souvenir to take home to help them remember the day. The morning will conclude with lunch in the eatery and a group skate routine on the ice.

Purchase tickets by calling 219-769 PARK, M-F from 8:30 - 4:30 or going to the Lake County Parks business office, 8411 E. Lincoln Highway, 4 ½ miles east of I-65 on Route 30, just west of Deep River Waterpark. Tickets are also available at the Waterpark when the ice skating plaza is open.

Deep River Waterpark is located at 9001 East U.S. 30 only 4 ½ miles east of I-65 on Route 30 in Merrillville.
