Bobsled Rides at Buckley Homestead: Closed until snow Click here for details

Two Can Tuesdays are back at Bellaboo's through April

One adult will be admitted free with one paying child when two cans of non expired, non parishable can goods are donated to the NWI Food Bank each Tuesday at Bellabo's through April. Click photo for info.

Maple Syrup Time at Deep River

When the days get warmer yet the nights remain below freezing the sap begins to drip from the maple trees and it's time for making maple syrup. Click on the photo for all the details.

Deep River Waterpark Ice Skating Plaza is open through February

Cooling coils under the concrete enable ice in most winter weather conditions. Ice is maintained daily by a large ice grooming machine similar to those used at professional hockey games. Click on the photo for dates, times, and fees.

Cross Country Ski Rentals

Ski rentals are available December 1 (snow conditions permitting) at Lemon Lake, Stoney Run, and Oak Ridge Prairie. Check out other winter opportunities in the parks, too. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Leave No Child Inside

Participation in outdoor activities in natural settings has been shown to increase self-esteem, decrease Attention-Deficit Disorder symptoms, and contribute to early learning and emotional and physical development of children.
