Please note that the parking fee is still collected even when a shelter is reserved. See additional information below.
Picnic shelters may be reserved at Buckley Homestead, Lemon Lake, Stoney Run, Deep River, Three Rivers, Lake Etta, Oak Ridge Prairie, and Grand Kankakee Marsh County Parks. Shelter fees vary depending on the size and amenities of the facility. Friday, weekend, and holiday prices range from $80 to $500 for Lake County residents and are higher for non-residents. Monday-Thursday prices are at a reduced price. Security deposits are required for groups over 500. Large Hexagon Shelters
- $125 plus tax (resident) Fr, Sa, Su & holiday; $50 plus tax M-Th
- $160 plus tax (non-resident) Fr, Sa, Su & holiday; $65 plus tax M-Th
Large Group Shelter at Lemon Lake
- $200 plus tax (resident) Fr, Sa, Su & holiday; $75 plus tax M-Th
- $250 plus tax (non-resident) Fr, Sa, Su & holiday; $95 plus tax M-Th
Lake Etta Pavilion
- $425 plus tax (resident) Fr, Sa, Su & holiday; $180 plus tax M-Th
- $525 plus tax (non-resident) Fr, Sa, Su & holiday; $230 plus tax M-Th
